 Buying property abroad is becoming extremely fashionable.
Whether it be a second home in Spain, a rustic retreat in
Brittany or an investment in Bulgaria, international purchases
are on the increase.
Unfortunately, like so many things that appear to offer
wonderful benefits, it can also be fraught with danger. You only
have to switch on Channel 4 at the moment to find a programme
highlighting some poor misguided soul’s attempt to buy a
property in Spain, only to have it whipped away due to a legal
technicality that was not fully investigated.
We have experience of buying and selling property in a number of
countries, among them, Cyprus, Spain, France, Germany, Bulgaria
and the USA. We are also able to negotiate very good deals on
mortgages for property in foreign countries and are very well
acquainted with the legal processes abroad.
If you are contemplating buying property in another country,
don’t do it until you have spoken to us.
Having decided to purchase a property abroad for the first
time, we were not too sure of the procedure. However, one local
call to The Home Buyers Agent with all our questions and the
next day we had answers. It saved us having to liaise with
estate agents, solicitors and developers saving us time and
money and giving us real peace of mind. It was a service I would
recommend to anybody – well worth the money!
